We start from M'Hamid. After a few hours of camel trekking we reach a grove of acacia trees, an excellent place to take a break and to rest in the shade of the trees. In the afternoon the journey continues towards the Sanctuary (Marabout) of Sidi Naji. There we set up our camp for the night. You can choose to sleep in a tent or under the stars.

In the morning we cross a wide stone desert also called Hamada with tamarisk trees before we reach the dunes of Erg Zahar. Here you will find some of the majestic dunes and in front of you is one of the most beautiful areas of the Moroccan desert. We spend the night next to the dunes of Erg Ez-Zahar.

After a few hours of trekking we arrive at the dunes of Erg Samar. Enjoy lunch between the sand dunes. In the afternoon our caravan will continue to the beautiful dunes of Erg Laghrair.

Today our journey continues to Erg Chegaga, the largest sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Our camp is at the foot of a huge sea of sand. The highest dune reaches up to 300 meters in height. This morning we will enjoy and relax at Erg Chegaga. It offers the wonderful opportunity for you and the camels to rest and gain energy for the next days of camel trekking. In the afternoon we leave for Maihat Assolah and continue walking to the Oasis Oum Laalag where we spend the night.

We continue our journey through the desert and learn more about the flora and fauna along the way. We pass by the Oued Laatache (a dry river bed) and rest near a spring where we enjoy our lunch. In the late afternoon we continue with the camels to Bougarn and spend another night under the stars of the Sahara.

From Bougarn we walk to the Oued Naam (valley of the Ostrich). This afternoon we rest there and set up camp for the last night in the desert.

Enjoy the wonderful sunrise over the desert and after breakfast our caravan walks back to M'Hamid.
